You are in luck! Not only do we have restaurants and nightlife close by, we have a new brew pub right on our resort (The Black Drum). If you want to venture out, we also offer on-demand complimentary shuttle transportation to restaurants, shopping, and nightlife within a mile of our Resort!

Yes! We will take good care of your clubs if you prefer to ship them to us. Please make sure let us know in advance and we will email you our shipping address and some pointers to make sure your clubs arrive safe, sound and on time for your first round.

Each course has a dress code that generally requires regular golf attire (no jeans or bathing suits. Some courses also require a collared shirt). If you are uncertain about a particular golf course’s dress code, please ask us and we’ll be happy to assist.

The best months for ideal playing conditions are Spring (mid-March through May) and Fall (Mid-September through mid-November)

The area courses generally aerate their greens 2 times per year. The first (large core/sand) aeration season is mid-June through July. It takes 12 days from the aeration date for the greens to be fully healed. The second (small tine/sand) aeration season is late August through mid-September. It takes 8 days from the aeration date to fully recover from small tine aeration. There are some outliers but rest assured we call each course to confirm their aeration dates to make sure you are playing courses that are in top condition.

All of Grand Strand courses will provide a raincheck but it is the responsibility of the group leader to collect rainchecks from the individual golf courses based on that course’s rain check policies.

No problem at all, just remember that they must cancel 10 days in advance. A cancellation may also affect the share of the accommodations cost for the golfers that remain if in the same condo or room.

As the group leader you are responsible for any non-payment by any member of your group but we will accept payments from individual group members for their share of their golf package.

Cancellations may be made up to 10 days in advance of your arrival date.

The initial deposit is due at the time of booking.

Yes! There are a few courses on the Grand Strand that are not designed for a double tee. There are also a number of courses that single tee at slower times of the year (summer and winter).

Courses that double tee have to cut off new tee times later in the morning for approximately 2.5 hours to allow the groups starting on hole #1 to make the turn to hole #10 and for the groups starting on hole #10 to make the turn to hole #1. The course then allows new golfers to start their rounds around 12pm.

The vast majority of the courses on the Grand Strand double tee (simultaneously start foursomes off the 1st and 10th tees in the morning). This allows the courses to accommodate as many golfers as possible during their peak times in the morning

If you have a group of 20 or more, we will provide the group leader with a full comp for their accommodations, golf, and breakfast including all taxes and fees. Please note that the other 19 golfers in your group must pay for a complete package in order for the group leader to get the comp. Partial packages within a group do not count.

If you have 2 in your party or if you have 200 in your party, our golf department staff will be happy to assist with your golf vacation plans!

Our golf and accommodations packages include accommodations, golf with cart, our renowned full breakfast buffet each morning, 1 hour per foursome in our on-site golf simulators and all taxes and fees.

All of our golf directors play 2 to 3 days per week and have been playing courses on the Grand Strand for as long as 30+ years. We also have a network of contacts to stay up to date on course conditions year-round. Our team has the ability to secure tee times at all of the public access courses from the Wedgefield CC in Georgetown, South Carolina to our south of the Grand Strand and all the way north to Lockwood Folly CC in North Carolina. Our guests have access to over 90 miles of coastal golf courses in 2 states.

The Grand Strand area golf courses generally open their tee sheets up 12 months in advance. Many of the area golf courses now raise their rates as they start to fill in their tee sheets so be sure to book your golf package early for the best package rates.

Yes! We provide our resort guests discounted rates as part of our golf and accommodations packages. We also provide our services at no charge to our guests.

Yes! We are one of a few resorts that have access to the Dunes Club tee sheets

Our golf directors know the courses, layouts, course designers, recent renovations, grass types on their putting surfaces, special rates, and even which courses have the best food and beverage options.
