Are you dreaming of a getaway that offers relaxation, adventure, and entertainment? Look no further than Kingston Resorts in the beautiful Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Kingston Resorts invites travelers year-round with its accommodations, beaches, and seemingly endless activities. But when is the best time to visit this coastal paradise? Let’s explore the four seasons and the unique experiences they offer.

Spring: March-May

As winter fades away and nature awakens, spring casts a spell of rejuvenation over Myrtle Beach. Picture-perfect weather with mild temperatures and blooming flowers set the stage for outdoor adventures.

Our Currents Water Park reopens in April, offering the perfect way to stay cool during your spring break vacation. Featuring two water parks and everything you need for a day of fun at the pool, it’s an ideal spot for families and friends. Adults can explore a water playground with slides and a large swimming pool, while younger visitors can enjoy another water park designed with kids in mind. Guests can also unwind in the hot tub or relax in one of the cabanas offering views of the ocean, water parks, pool, or fire pit. For added luxury, we also have daybeds and a hammock garden.

Adding to the excitement, our Rubber Duck Races also return to Kingston Resorts in April. Enter the duck races for a chance to win a free drink at the poolside bar or, if you’re a really lucky duck, a complimentary cabana at Currents Seaside Entertainment! Ducks can be pre-selected online or in person with the pool gate attendant. All proceeds will be donated to a monthly charity.

While staying with us at Kingston Resorts, remember to take advantage of springtime festivals like the Myrtle Beach Food Truck Festival, which typically takes place in April, and the Canadian-American Days Festival in March. These festivals celebrate the region’s diverse cultural heritage.

Summer: June-August

Summer in Myrtle Beach means even more sun-drenched days, warm ocean breezes, and endless fun. With temperatures perfect for beach activities, you can dive into the refreshing waves, build sandcastles, or simply soak up the rays right outside your door. Thrill-seekers will delight in water sports like jet skiing and parasailing along the beach.

The amazing Pools at Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort feature a heated oceanfront pool and the only sand bottom pool in Myrtle Beach! Grab a drink at Wet Whistle, then lounge poolside while enjoying the ocean view and live local music.

In the summer months, we also offer a variety of special activities to enhance your experience. This year, we are hosting activities on the Currents Seaside Entertainment pool deck from 11 am to 5 pm, featuring fan favorites like tie-dye, slime-making, and water balloon fights! Looking for something a little different? Join us at 78Fitness on Tuesdays for sand volleyball and complimentary use of the golf simulators.

If you’re a music lover, Kingston Resorts is the place to be this summer when the Carolina Country Music Fest takes place June 6 – 9. This star-studded event features headliners like Morgan Wallen, Carrie Underwood, and Old Dominion, plus a great mix of big names and up-and-coming talent. Be sure to pack your cowboy hat — the Carolina Country Music Fest promises to electrify the shores of Myrtle Beach this summer.

Fall: September-November

Myrtle Beach unveils a new palette of colors and experiences as summer transitions to fall. The weather remains pleasant, with mild temperatures and decreased humidity, making it an ideal time for outdoor activities. You can enjoy beach walks along the property and have a drink on the patio at Black Drum Brewing to watch the sunset.

Fall is the perfect time to relax completely. If you ask us, there’s no better spot to unwind than surrounded by dreamy blues and gentle greens in an atmosphere of refined luxury and cool comfort at Spa33. Lovely water features and a light-filled tranquility garden transform this space into a calming oasis. Our Myrtle Beach spa is open to both Kingston Resorts guests and outside visitors.

Myrtle Beach isn’t just a coastal haven, it’s also a golfer’s paradise. Along the Grand Strand, it boasts over 80 championship golf courses, each offering its own unique challenges and stunning vistas. From meticulously manicured fairways to breathtaking ocean views, Myrtle Beach offers an unparalleled golfing experience that will delight players of all skill levels.

Kings North Golf Premier Course

Foodies in Myrtle Beach can delight in culinary festivals like the I Love Seafood Fest in September and the Myrtle Beach Oktoberfest in October. These events highlight local delicacies and craft brews, offering a vibrant celebration of coastal flavors and Bavarian traditions. Stay tuned for a special Oktoberfest celebration at our very own Black Drum Brewing this year!

Winter: December – February

While other destinations hibernate during the winter, Myrtle Beach continues to enchant visitors with its mild climate and tranquil ambiance. Escape the hustle and bustle of the holiday season and indulge in a peaceful retreat at Kingston Resorts.

And for those looking to stay active during their winter getaway, grab your paddle because it’s time to rally and have a ball on the court! Get outside and play pickleball at Kingston Resorts. Square off with an opponent in singles or pair up with a friend or family member in doubles on our four pickleball courts. Paddles for pickleball and balls are all available, so you can get out and rally while on vacation.

Do you want to spend some time with the kids away from the ocean? Enjoy a leisure swing or slide at the Kids Playground adjacent to 78Fitness — open to all guests any time throughout the day. If you’re up for some adventure, why not enjoy a bike ride around the resort or along the beach? Bike rentals are conveniently available at 78Fitness, making it easy to explore the scenic surroundings at your own pace.

Experience the magic of the season in December at the Myrtle Beach Holiday Parade, or immerse yourself in the enchanting Glow of the Nights of a Thousand Candles at nearby Brookgreen Gardens.

No matter the season you choose to visit, we’re sure you’ll have an unforgettable experience. And the best part? You will cherish the memories you create for a lifetime. All you have to do is start planning

We look forward to welcoming you to Myrtle Beach.
