Sand and water are elements of a quintessential Myrtle Beach experience at Kingston Resorts. Located on a beautiful beach, the ocean is always near and ready for you to enjoy the beauty of oceanfront living. Of course, some of our guests also want to avoid sand and water —   especially when on one of the 80 golf courses near Kingston Resorts. Golf is enjoyed in our region year-round, and 2022 was no different. We partner with golf courses in the area to bring our guests a tailored golf experience through our golf concierge service. Here are some highlights from 2022 as we look ahead to another great year filled with days on the course followed by relaxing entertainment at the restaurants, bars, and pools of Kingston Resorts.

Golf Simulator Favorites of 2022

When our guests weren’t on the course, many took the time to hone their skills and practice on one of our three golf simulators at 78Fitness. After all, practice makes perfect! While we have over 100 courses available on our simulators, the top three to play in 2022 were:

  1. Pebble Beach
  2. The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island
  3. Bandon Dunes

Enjoy food and beverage service when you book one of our simulators. Practice is even more perfect with a bucket of beer and tasty bar bites from our restaurants. Email us ([email protected]) or call 843-497-2444 to book one of our simulators.

Your Favorite Golf Courses Near Kingston Resorts

With over 80 courses near Kingston Resorts, it’s almost impossible to narrow it down and pick a favorite. In fact, a major reason golfers love staying at our resort is no two Myrtle Beach golf getaways look the same. There’s always a reason to come back, whether to tackle a new challenge or play a classic favorite. Here were the top three courses our guests enjoyed within a five-mile radius of Kingston Resorts:

  1. The Fazio Course at Barefoot Landing
  2. The Dye Course at Barefoot Landing
  3. Arcadian Shores Golf Club

Barefoot Landing features four courses by four illustrious golf course architects, including Pete Dye, George Fazio, North Carolina’s Davis Love III, and Greg Norman. In less than 15 minutes, you can go from Kingston Resorts to these four premier golf courses. While it’s hard to choose a favorite, the Fazio course is a classic Lowcountry course, and its strategic design makes it a must-play for any visit to Myrtle Beach. Guests also love Dye’s signature challenging design set along the unforgettable white sands of the Carolina Bays.

Arcadian Shores Golf Club is a long-time favorite of visitors to Kingston Resorts — a good challenge for amateurs of all levels. It’s also located within range of Kingston Resorts’ complimentary shuttle service. Easy to get to, tough to master, it’s the perfect course for guests of our resort.
